  39         output styles:  The default is similar to the old FSF gprof,
  40         while -T sets the variable bsd_style_output, which causes
  41         output matching Berkeley's gprof.  The biggest differences
  42         are that with the FSF style output, the flat profile comes
  43         before the call graph; numbers come before explanations;
  44         and there is less gratuitous white space.
  45         * gprof.h, gprof.c, printfgprof.c:  New discard_underscores
  46         variable causes discarding of initial underscores when
  47         printing symbol names.  It is set unless there is a "main"
  48         symbol (without an underscore).
  49         * printfgprof.c:  New function printnameonly(), called
  50         by printname().  It handles stripping of initial '_',
  51         as well as C++ name-demangling.
