34 <p>This function converts a <b><font face="Courier New">octetstring</font></b> value to a <b><font face="Courier New">charstring</font></b>. Each octet of the input is transformed into two
35 characters representing hexadecimal digits. The returned <b><font face="Courier New">charstring</font></b> will contain characters from the ranges "0" .. "9" and "A" .. "F", that is, letters are
36 always stored in uppercase.
